Lately girlfriend has been expanding her formula only diet (with her doctor's permission). She has had rice cereal; not her favorite, avocados, banana, steamed squash, and cream of wheat. Basically, her pediatrician said that if I had plan fruit or vegetables on my plate I can mash it up and give it too her. He is awesome like that and doesn't believe in the whole one food for a week and never fruit to a baby. Lucy of course has to feed herself so both of us need a bath after she eats, but her faces are priceless when she tries something new that it makes the mess worth it. She mainly just has formula and cream of wheat each day and every couple of days I am trying something new. Since she is so small, I try to only give her high fat veggies and fruit like avocados.
